Hello and welcome to my corner of the web!

I’m Martin, a full time boat-person, part-time taker of photos of anything that has the audacity to stand in front of my camera for too long.

Photography is a pursuit that I dedicate the vast majority of my spare time to, whether that be standing around waiting for sunset in the mountains, trying to find shots in the urban jungle, or simply playing with what I’ve already taken in Lightroom and Photoshop and throwing the best one I have at 500px and Instagram like some kind of social media junkie...

This is blog is to be my new forum for discussing the processes behind some of my images, how they're shot and edited, as well as a place to jot down my musings on the gear I get to play with in my part-time photography life.

Pendle Hill stands firm against the passing of time.

If you want to know roughly what to expect, check out my Featured Gallery here, but my real interest is best described as long exposure, or super-long exposure photography (check out that gallery here).  Technically quite challenging and pushing my camera to see what I can’t, whether that be the night’s sky in all its glorious detail, or the passage of time told through just the clouds.

So if that sounds like something that you might like to learn about, stay tuned!

Ciao for now.
